British Consultancy Charitable Trust

“In September 2008 in Northern Uganda, through consultation with elders and inhabitants of Agoro, Lamwo District, BCCT began working with the local community and internally displaced people (IDPs) to create a vocational training institute designed to deliver sustainable economic development: a key part of the reconstruction plan. Here the first training course teaches the craft of dry-stone wall building.”

BRITISH CONSULTANCY CHARITABLE TRUST (BCCT) has as its primary aim  the promotion and mentoring of sustainable enterprise, offering a full range of services to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through its volunteer advisers.

BCCT is also active in the field of social development.

  • BCCT’s services are offered to countries with low levels of industrial capacity, economic productivity and scarcity of vital technological services.

  • We have a group of dedicated Regional Managers who are key to the efficient delivery of successful assignments in those countries under their respective management.

  • We have an extensive database of more than 2,000 professionals with proven expertise in their specialist fields, who volunteer their services to carry out assignments overseas, transferring knowledge and expertise to developing economies.

  • In the majority of the countries BCCT works in, we have BCCT representatives at varying levels, known as BROs.
